A 19th century hand carved oak wall scroll, salvaged directly from one of the original old buildings of " the commercial traveller's school" in north London , dating from around 1880.
The Commercial Travellers' Schools were founded in 1845 by John Robert Cuffley to provide a boarding education for orphaned and necessitous children of commercial traveller's.
