A late Victorian parlour game using a roulette style spinning wheel for gambling on the horses.

This particular game entitled “Sandown” is made by F.H. Ayres, and retailed by Hamleys, London.

The names of the horses are visible on the wheel, Pickwick, Peeping Tom, Esmerelda, Dorothy, Boulder, Maid Marion and Waverley.

The game retains its original gambling cards, chips and rule book.

Complete with its original box.
