Advertising Opaline Light
£1250
An insanely rare opaline lantern for an off licence selling Toby Ale.
In the 1920s/30s it was common place for taverns to advertise and sell liquor from the pub to takeaway.
This is an original large dodecagon opaline light, made by Hailware.
Comprising of hand painted advertising on each side, with 2 sides with the wording off licence and 2 sides with the hand painted logo of Toby Ale.
Retaining its large copper gallery, and gas hanging hook with its original gas inlet.
The light has now been wired for domestic use.
