Large Mr Pickwick Brass Light

A very unusual wall light, depicting Mr Pickwick, a character from Charles Dickens The Pickwick Papers, a kind hearted, retired gentleman enjoying numerous adventures with his companions.
The lamp is a solid brass cast, with its foundry lozenge and number to the back.
A very unusual example, the table lamp being the only version we have seen before.
Retaining its original bracket, the lamp can be wired into a standard light switch.
On the front of the base is the original toggle switch.
